Mr. Hatz brings over two decades of experience to The Wladis Law Firm's clients, focusing primarily on commercial real estate, municipal law, and complex banking and finance. He has extensive experience in all types of financing arrangements from both the borrower's and the lender's perspective, as well as commercial sales, acquisitions, secured transactions, workouts and reorganizations. He has represented countless lenders, sellers and purchasers in commercial real estate and asset financing, and has represented several local developers in their leasing transactions.

Mr. Hatz also has extensive municipal real estate and land use experience, having worked on zoning variances, subdivisions, eminent domain proceedings, regulatory interpretation and compliance, and environmental law issues. Municipal clients have been further served by his comprehensive knowledge of public finance.

Mr. Hatz obtained his B.A. from Eastern Nazarene College and his J.D. from Albany Law School of Union University. He is admitted to practice before all New York State Courts and the United States District and Bankruptcy Courts for both the Northern and Western Districts of New York. He is a member of the Onondaga County and New York State Bar Associations, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Central New York Bankruptcy Bar Association, of which he is a past President.

Mr. Hatz has been an Adjunct Professor with the Syracuse University College Continuing Education Program instructing in bankruptcy and creditor's rights. His community involvement includes serving as a past member of the Board of Directors of Girls, Inc. of Central New York.
